I can say it has stood the test of time and still going strong. I didn't know they still engineered household appliances this durable anymore. It has lasted me through Dental School and my first 3 years of marriage. The container in the top will hold an entire 8 oz bag of beans and because most oxidation of coffee occurs after the beans are ground, you can have a Cafe quality cup of coffee every morining. Brew immediately after grinding. You will love it. So much better than those messy, awkward top loading grinders. You set the timer, grind, and pour into your filter. That easy.
